The Harvest Hooley takes over Clonmel’s much-loved Railway Bar for a night of autumn feasting, mighty live music and dancing.
We’ll kick things off around the table with a hearty Autumn Stew made with premium Whelan’s Butchers beef and local ingredients, followed, naturally, by apple pie.
Then it’s time to clear the floor for MegaTRAD. Rooted in the music of East Clare, their exhilarating live sound throws traditional Irish music together with bass, beats and effects for a dance set with serious energy.
And we’re not going home when the band finishes. DJ Lorcan takes over with a Trad World Fusion set to keep the Hooley going.
Good food, great music, dancing and a room full of people up for the craic. That’s the Harvest Hooley.

Comprising brothers Cillian and Seán O’Dálaigh, alongside mandolin maestro Denis McAuliffe, megaTRAD is not your typical trad band.
With roots deep in East Clare, the trio grew up surrounded by the rich tapestry of Irish music, song and dance. Drawing on those traditions alongside contemporary influences, megaTRAD weave bass, beats, effects and pedal FX into their formidable musicianship.
The result is an innovative, high-energy fusion of traditional Irish music and contemporary sound, affectionately dubbed “Tradscendental” by their fans.
