Create a small textile artwork expressing a hope, wish or vision for the future, using reclaimed fabrics, stitching and simple embellishment.

Imagining – Dream Cloths + Future Visions
As part of artist Brigid Teehan’s five-week Threads of Care residency, this hands-on textile workshop invites participants to create a small artwork expressing a hope, wish or vision for themselves, their community or the future.
Using reclaimed fabrics, stitching, layering and simple embellishment, we’ll explore how creativity can help us imagine positive change. Individual pieces can stand alone or become part of a larger collective artwork.
No previous experience is needed. All materials are provided.
Threads of Care explores how small acts of repair, creativity and making together can strengthen connection and community.
Free. Registration required.
